How do you explain that the very politicians who make decisions
for food security, own over 75% of arable land, 75% of which is underutilised
and go ahead to make decision to import foods, using their dubious companies to
swindle the very poor they are suppose to serve. Ministers are full time
employees of the state and must never ever be allowed to run farms or
enterprises, that to me is a serious conflict of interest and this is where we
Zimbabweans have made a serious error of judgement. Politicians are not farmers, and farmers are
not politicians. Where do they find spare time to come up with national policies,
deploy the policies, monitor and take audit of their intentions? The economic
gangsters of Robert Mugabe, haemorrhaging the country must not only be summarily
sacked but mercilessly fired.
