Munangagwa's wrong foot forward

Munangagwa, not fit for office. That a newly appointed Vice President, would get it wrong so fast, so desperate to the point of mimicking mediocrity, has baffles many Zimbabweans both in ZANU and MDC. How a well publicised trip to Europe to drum up for foreign investments ended up in an almost no man’s land is consistent with ZANU’s ill-thought process, Belarus is not and will not be a lesson learned for a corrupt and collapsed economy of the magnitude of Zimbabwe, suffering from the decades of incompetency. 

On record Belarus has never recorded a budget surplus for decades, currently at -0.2 % deficit, therefore it’s neither a case study of good governance nor prosperity. Munangagwa was better off going to Botswana which has a case study of prosperity in every sense of the word, currently enjoying a surplus of 1.7% of GDP. Coming after another wasted trip to China, this is another embarrassment of self infliction, Munangagwa if he really is serious about breathing life in an old dog, he should visit Germany, with an unparalleled economic growth, an efficient tax collecting systems contributing to 44% of GDP.

Zimbabwe’s problems are not beyond its borders, the solutions lie with Zimbabweans, the most educated nationals in Africa to determine their own destiny. ZANU has failed, Mugabe and Munangagwa must go and give rise to people’s party with solutions, MDC.
